Introduction

The title of this blog, Logic's Rock, is taken from the prologue to the Elegies For The Dead in Cyrenaica by my late friend Hamish Henderson (1919 - 2002).  The full verse is:

Let my words knit what now we lack

The demon and the heritage

And fancy strapped to logic's rock.

A chastened wantonness, a bit

That sets on song a discipline,

A sensuous austerity.

Why have I started blogging?  Mainly because I have become so disillusioned with the mainstream media and its constant diet of celebrity pap and neoliberal, unionist politics.
